You'll have several decisions to make about what to include with your new pool. We'll help you through the process.
Many people decide they want a vinyl liner in their in-ground pool. Vinyl pools are flexible in their design and popular among owners. You will never have to repaint or re-plaster a vinyl pool. A vinyl liner makes all surfaces of your pool smooth. Vinyl liners are not limited in colors and patterns as they used to be, and the cost of the liner will depend on its shape, size, thickness and pattern choice.
Choosing a liner for your pool can be a difficult decision. We've made it easy for you by offering quality liners from Fort Wayne Pools that you can rely on to fit your pool and last for many years. Plus, the Oasis Vinyl Liner pattern selection provides a variety of designer patterns to suit any backyard or any poolscape.
All Oasis Vinyl Liners are made from the finest vinyl available, specifically treated with a special fungicide to inhibit bacteria growth. Virtually maintenance-free, Premier Vinyl Liners are easy to clean and smooth to the touch. No scuffed toes or snagged swimsuits!
Our Extreme Safety Covers protect both you and your family. They are manufactured to your specific pool size and shape. A properly installed Extreme Safety Cover will help prevent accidental intrusion by children and pets. Extreme Safety Covers are made with your choice of solid or mesh material.
ProTex pool covers
ProTex offers the benefits of a solid cover with the ease and handling of a mesh. Manufactured with a light and tight-woven material, ProTex safety covers are designed to allow water through for drainage and safety but keep sunlight and debris out for ease of maintenance and peace of mind. Available in green.
LitePro pool covers
Lightweight LitePro safety covers are about half the weight of our standard solid cover. LitePro solid safety covers will block out all of the sun's rays, yet the new lightweight material allows for easy installation and removal. Available in green and blue.
Bio-Shade pool covers
Bio-Shade covers feature a customized engineered mesh designed to inhibit the growth of algae in your pool and are made of durable, long-lasting polypropylene. You'll have no more standing water in the springtime to encourage insects to breed. Our mesh material allows water and snow to drain right through. Their built-in durability and strength will protect your family and your investment. Available in green, blue, tan and gray.
Full weight solid pool covers
Heavy-duty solid safety covers stand up to whatever Mother Nature can dish out. One of the industry's most durable covers comes standard with the INVIS-A-DRAIN system, keeping all the debris and sun's rays out, allowing only water to pass into your pool. Available in green and blue.
At Blue Hawaiian Pools, we offer three types of water systems for your pool. Swimmers feel, smell and even taste little difference among the types of water systems. Each system requires water monitoring and maintenance throughout the summer. The systems vary, though, on cost and the amount of maintenance. The professionals at Blue Hawaiian Pools can walk you through the differences of each system, and help you determine which is best for your backyard.
To reduce the levels required of potentially harmful disinfectants, such as chlorine, some systems rely on ozone and ultraviolet light technology. Ozone is a naturally occurring gas that disinfects by oxidizing organic and inorganic substances commonly found in pools. With UV technology, water passes a lamp that delivers light-specific intensities, which stops the spread of pathogens and chemical byproducts found in pools.
With saltwater pools, chlorine is generated from the salt in the pool through a process called electrolysis when the water passes through a special metal cell. Saltwater pools require less maintenance because owners do not have to add chlorine on a weekly basis. Owners also save on the cost of chlorine. However, saltwater systems are generally more expensive, and they require more electricity to operate. Most owners will save money over the life of a saltwater pool, but for many, the costs are about the same.
Conventional freshwater pools
These require chlorine to be added on a regular basis. Chlorine is an effective way to eliminate microorganisms and pathogens that can make people sick. However, too much chlorie can burn swimmers' eyes and exacerbate the symptoms of asthma, as well as ruin a swimming suit and damage pool materials.
Our coping and trim provides a high quality finish for your pool while securing and protecting your liner. The most popular looks are brick or stone travertine and traditional colored metal.
Steps, swimouts and ledges
Pool ingress and egress are important elements to consider when designing your pool. We can install custom steps, swimouts and ledges that provide an easy way to wade into the water while offering a comfortable place to sit.
Pool lighting can create an elegant atmosphere while enhancing safety after dark. Whether the lighting is in the pool or above ground, we can install the perfect fit for your backyard.
Don't let falling temperatures impact your enjoyment of your pool or spa. Enjoy your backyard year-round with one of our high-quality heating systems.
Give yourself more time to relax in your pool with one of our pool-cleaning systems. We offer Polaris inline cleaners and Dolphin and Polaris robotic cleaners.
Filters – sand and cartridge
Filter systems help keep your pool clean. Sand filters trap dirt, increasing in efficiency with the more dirt they collect. When the pressure reaches a certain reading, the dirt is simply backwashed out of the system. Cartridge filters, while generally more expensive, are more efficient, easier to maintain and filter out smaller particles of dirt and debris. We can help you chose the best filter for your pool.
Automatic control systems
We offer a line of automatic control systems that make it much easier to maintain your pool – giving you more time to relax and enjoy it. Take the work out of pool and spa ownership with a system that automatically controls sanitation, cleaning and filtration, and balancing the pH.
The amount of customization we can provide for your new pool is limitless. We can add special features, such as waterfalls, diving boards, slides and laminar jets. You name it. We can help you design a pool that meets your family's needs and stands apart from the rest.
